Cheese Flapjack Recipe

cheese flapjack 2Here is the incredibly popular cheese flapjack recipe – even my dairy hating daughter will eat these!  You can hid vegetables and seeds in them too!

  • 2 eggs
  • 50g melted butter
  • 150g porridge oats
  • 150g cheddar cheese
  • 1 large carrot
  • 1 tbsp seeds (sunflower, sesame, pumpkin)
  1. cheese flapjackPreheat the oven to 180C.
  2. Line a baking tray or brownie tray.
  3. Put the oats in a mixing bowl with the melted butter.
  4. Add the seeds, cheese, eggs and carrot.
  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared tray and flatten with the back of a spoon.
  6. Cook for 25-30 minutes until golden.
  7. Allow to cool in the tin before slicing.
