Menopause and Mental Health - Anxiety and Sleep

Menopause brings many physical changes, but its impact on mental health is just as profound. Anxiety, disrupted sleep, and emotional shifts are common experiences during this transition, often leaving women feeling overwhelmed and uncertain about how to manage these challenges.

Join Liz, an experienced UKCP and BACP-registered therapist, for an insightful session exploring the connection between menopause, anxiety, and sleep. With over 10 years of experience supporting adults in London, Oxted, and online, Liz specialises in understanding how our thoughts, emotions, and body interact to shape our mental well-being.

In this session, Liz will explain how hormonal changes affect the brain, leading to increased anxiety and sleep disturbances. She will share practical strategies to help ease these symptoms, including CBT-based techniques to shift unhelpful thinking patterns that may be making issues like hot flushes and insomnia worse.

Liz will also provide guidance on accessing talking therapy, whether for menopause-related concerns or other challenges, and offer valuable insights on what to look for when seeking professional support.

This event is ideal for anyone looking to understand menopause’s mental health impact and gain practical, evidence-based strategies to feel more in control.
